Ben grew up in Syracuse where he attended Onondaga Community College before enlisting in the Army Reserve in the spring of 2020. After completing his military training, Ben transferred to Roberts Wesleyan where he met his wife Tes and completed his bachelors degree in music education. Ben plays a wide variety of instruments with tuba and drum set being his primaries.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys serving in his church on the worship team and in the middle school ministry. Outside the church, Ben enjoys cooking, visiting family and spending time with his wife and their two cats.
