After college graduation, Lisa taught middle school math and science at North Baptist Christian School for several years before staying home to homeschool her own four children. In addition to teaching her children, Lisa tutored other homeschool students and taught daily math classes to high school students in her home. Lisa has been teaching 2nd grade at Northstar since 2021.

Lisa and her husband, Bob, both serve in their church wherever they are needed. Lisa has taught various children's classes for years and helps out with the youth group. Lisa also plays piano. As nature enthusiasts and history lovers, the Corcimiglia family can often be found hiking in the Adirondacks or exploring a historical site. Lisa's other hobbies include biking, gardening, and reading.
